    Men have changed my life.

Men? Yep, that's right. Men have changed my life.

The first man to impact my life was my dad. He was my role model. I respected him, even feared him most days, but I wanted to be just like him. He's the type of man that changes the lives of others. I can't count how many kids lived with us while I was growing up. They needed a place to stay and my dad never turned anyone away. He made me want my life to matter, too.

Man number two was my husband. Unlike anyone else I've ever known, he lives his life with his family foremost in everything he does. Family always comes first. My son and I are priority number one to him. His influence in my life has changed me. I know he loves me and I know he will always be by my side. The amount of confidence that he gives me to do everything else in my life is just what I need from him.

The third man was my son. Boy, did my life change after he came along! The lessons I've learned being a mom are infinite in number and importance, and they continue every single day. My son gave me the motivation to be a better person. I knew right away that I had to improve myself in order to raise a baby into a man, so I worked and still work every day to be the best that I can be. I do it for him.

The last and most important man to change my life...and hit the back button now if you don't want to get religious...was Jesus. There is no possible way that I could have peace and joy in my life without my faith. It is true. None of the above three men could have made a difference without this one.

Men...I really can't live without them!
